Class of 1960 Reunion

The Class of "2000" 10 year reunion will be held on Saturday, July 24th, 2010 at the Ironwood Cafe in Westlake. The price is $30.00 per person ($60.00/couple). Class of 1995 Reunion
Date: August 07, 2010 to August 08, 2010

The class Reunion is set for August 7^th and 8^th. August 7^th will be dinner and dancing at the Elyria Country Club @ 6pm. Further details will be coming in the mail. August 8^th will be a family cookout at Huntington Beach Park, in Bay Village. The pavilion at the east end of the park is reserved for the day for our class. It will start will start around 11am. 2010 Hall of Fame

Many Elyria Catholic alumni and friends gathered to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s inductees into the 2010 Elyria Catholic Hall of Fame.  The event was held on Thursday May 13, 2010 at LCCC Spitzer Center.  The evening was filled with laughter and stories as each recipient recalled their memories of their time spent at Elyria Catholic.

Please join us as we congratulate the 2010 inductees:  Mr. Ron Gilgenbach '52, Mr. Walter Boron '67 and Fr. Anthony Schuerger '69 in the Distinguished Alumni Category; Mr. Bob Guinta for Outstanding Educator and Mr. Mark Smith ’70 for his Outstanding Service to the EC Community.

Pot O’ Gold Big Success

Thank you for your support of Elyria Catholic’s spring fundraiser, the Pot O’ Gold.  The enthusiasm and excitement was contagious with close to 500 people in attendance! 

The evening began with a cocktail hour, while guests enjoyed music from a live jazz band.  The martini bar was a big hit as Harold Kaufmann, from Spring Valley Country Club, mixed signature EC martini’s served in an EC martini glass that guests could take home.

The winners in the $5,000 reverse raffle decided to split the pot equally this year, each taking home a $1,000 prize.  The big winners were Tim Quinn, Bill Brand, Nick Penick, Ellen Basinski ’57 and Dan Reaser ’78.  Dan decided to donate his winnings to the EC Quarterback Club!  The winner of the Leprechaun Raffle was Dawn Reichlin.

Thanks to the generous support of our alumni and friends, this year’s event raised more than $41,000 for the school!  We hope all of you will consider joining us again for next year’s Pot O’ Gold, to be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011.
